Really clean. $1200.00 Model 29-8 Mountain Gun. These were built on a 4 screw frame with the tapered barrel. These were for the stocking dealers. The second version was a run of 1000 for Talo. These were built on a 3 screw frame which I am guessing S&W had in stock. These have the Mountain in engraving on the barrel and also came with Altmont stocks that are stippled and have Mountain engraved on the lower butt.
Then came a third version, also a 3 screw probably from a Talo overrun? These had the Altmont grips and ( Outfitter series ) within a spread of elk antlers , laser etched on the side plate. This may be the rarest of the 29-8 production. I have a letter from S&W and even they couldn't tell me how many they produced. Comes in factory blue box with paperwork. Clean gun. $1250.00. Rossi lever action R92 in 44 mag. $600.00 because of a scratch on the feed side. A big ammo box 35# of ammo, 700 plus rounds at a buck a round. I also have a Mernicle Western style gun belt and holster for a 4 inch model 29. Has loops and 2 speed loader pouches.
