The 1400’s receiver is lightweight aluminum. Internal recoil reduction system. This 12-gauge shotgun, chambered for 2 3/4" shells, features a 28-inch barrel with a full choke tube, making it an excellent choice for a variety of shooting activities, from bird hunting to clay sports. This model does NOT accept any choke tubes and cannot be modified. It has a three (3) shell capacity and cannot be modified.

This is a 30 year old shotgun that has spent 99% of it's life in a case inside a closet. Clean and no rust. The wood does have some scratch/marks and there is one small ding/chip on the receiver. Cosmetically, this gun still looks great and shoots just as good. I am only selling this gun because in my advanced age, I am no longer able to deal with the 12ga caliber recoil or the weight of the gun. This gun is priced $50.00 lower than the cheapest comparable price I could find when searching guns(dot)com and other broker sites. This more than accounts for any blemishes on the gun.
