This Luger is rough, having some rust in many areas. The really bad pitting is on the barrel where it meets the action. The Wood grips are in good shape, as is the bore. I knew the man who brought it home from WW2. Don't know why it's only pitted in a confined area. I showed it to a recognized expert on Lugers, and he said it was probably from blood, but that's just speculation. I have the magazine, but the wood bottom is missing. Repacements are available. I do have the pin that holds the bottom in place. I'm told the take-down lever is not original.
