2 pieces of Cherry wood. This is scrap from when I used to build muzzleloaders. These pieces are a full 2 inches thick, not 1-1/2 inches like a standard 2x4. This thickness allows for the cast needed for a rifle. The first piece is 7 1/8 wide by 47 1/2 tall by 2 inch thick. The second piece is 5 in. wide at the top by 37 inches tall and is 7 inches wide at the bottom. The bottom wide part is 8 inches tall. It is also 2 inches wide. This wood makes a beautiful gunstock.
