I have for sale a brand new, never fired AR Performance MK68 upper (with the Lothar barrel). AR Performance is one of the leaders in the 6.8 SPC space, and was the one who developed the modern specifications for 6.8 SPC... he posts as "constructor" on 68forums.com.
I have only taken the upper out of the box once or twice and mounted it on a lower to fondle/inspect it, and have never fired it. I was planning on building a hog gun around it but never got around to it, my home built upper with a Bison Armory barrel is fine if not as nicely put together, and I want a Premier Heritage scope for another project.
This AR Performance MK68 upper has a 16" chrome lined 11-ish twist hand-lapped Lothar-Walther stainless barrel. SPC II chambered, of course. Chamber designed to lower pressure and to shoot any current 6.8 ammunition, including the SSS "combat loads" (hotter ammo, kinda like 5.56 compared to .223)
Upper comes complete with BCG and charging handle, ready to mount on a lower. Barrel profile is 0.750" behind the gas block and 0.600" in front, so it handles very well. It also has a YHM rifle length customizable float tube, pinned YHM lo-pro gas block, and YHM phantom flash hider. Also included is a KZ picatinny QD sling mount and swivel, and a set of Lee 6.8 SPC dies, which are like new (I cleaned them and mounted them on a turret but ultimately ended up buying a set of Forster dies before I reloaded anything).
Price is $670 FTF sale at a mutually agreeable location in Houston; I will ship but buyer pays actual shipping charges and PayPal fees, if any.
Thanks for looking!
