These rifles were mfg. as a limited edition item, with only 20 rifles being mfg. for each state. This example is marked with the S# and Ruger's mfg. information on the left side of the receiver, with the Ruger logo above "MINI-14/ 5.56 NATO" marked over the top of the receiver at the rear. Metal components exhibit a blue finish overall. Wood pistol grip buttstock exhibits a panel on the left side of soldiers, UH-1 "Huey" helicopters, a naval ship, and "DUTY. HONOR. COUNTRY." followed by a pair of blank dog tags surrounded by scrollwork, as well as a scene of a soldier saluting between 2 banners, with the top banner reading "HEROES NEVER DIE, THEY LIVE ON FOREVER IN THE HEARTS AND MINDS" and the lower banner reading "OF THOSE WHO WOULD FOLLOW IN THEIR FOOTSEPS - EMILY POTTER". Right side of the stock exhibits a panel featuring scenes of nurses tending to a wounded soldier, a scene of soldiers loading into a UH-1 medical evacuation helicopter, soldiers in the jungle, and "WELCOME HOME", with 2 dog tags marked "1 OF 20" and "COLORADO" next to the state of Colorado surrounded by scrollwork, and a scene of soldiers between 2 banners, with the top banner reading "IT'S TIME WE RECOGNIZE THAT OURS WAS," and the lower reading "IN TRUTH A NOBLE CAUSE -RONALD REAGAN". Handguard is comprised of black polymer.
