1920 WInchester Model 1895 NRA Musket for sale in Houston Texas

These NRA muskets were made to comply with the specifications of the National Rifle Association of America. To comply for target matches of the association for "any military arm" matches, a special 24 inch barrel, Model 1901 Krag rear sight and a special flat buttplate were fitted to the standard Model 1895. The .30-06 NRA Muskets were made from 1904 to 1925 with this particular musket having been manufactured in 1920.

Overall excellent condition with 95% original blue finish from minor cycling and handling wear. The barrel is in great condition showing no pitting or corrosion. The buttplate shows wear on the bottom. The wood is very fine with only a few scattered minor dings and handling marks. The markings are superbly crisp and clear. The action is excellent.
