I've heard alot of the hysteria. I don't think there's anything to it, but I know that people are wanting to feel better about their 320. Here's a model that has a manual safety and can get you back to shooting your 320 without the worry. I put this gun together to emulate a 1911. This one has the Brouwer solutions M1811 grip module. It also comes with a Wilson Combat grip module with the tungsten weights installed as well. This gun comes with a custom trigger job by grayguns, a Gogun Gas pedal takedown lever, a Sig Legion flat faced trigger, an upgraded extractor, The Romeo 1 red dot sight, and The Streamlight TLR6 Tan WML. Finally, I have topped it off with the DPM recoil management spring system. The gun is 100% reliable and 100% SAFE. The manual safety prevents anything in the trigger system from actuating, AS WELL as intentionally misaligning other parts in the striker system to prevent any unwanted discharge. The recent crisis is the only reason I'm considering selling, since there are alot of guys wanting to keep their 320s, but would rather get a manual safety model, making this gun worth putting on the market (and I've had some folks ask about it). You can build one like this, but it'll cost you thousands. I have all the original parts except for the original extractor, which was lost and upgraded. Other than barrels and slides, this gun has just about everything you can upgrade taken care of. It will also come with an incog x holster that specifically works with the M1811 grip and the TRL6.
