1970s model Colt python 357 revolver 6” barrel for sale in Dallas Texas

I inherited this revolver, and while it’s super cool and I have used it on an alligator hunt once to shoot 2 gators, it has otherwise sat in a cabinet for almost a decade and that seems like a waste. I cannot definitely find the manufacturing date based on the serial number but believe it is a 1970s model from what I was told. Based on the serial number stamped near the cylinder, that starts with V44XXX . It has been used, it still shoots great, and I’d be interested in selling OR trading for a good upland hunting gun like a higher end 20 or 28g OU shotgun.
