Gotten some funny comments on this listing, people bemoaning that the camo is hard to focus on. Well, Duhhh - please remember that'st the exact purpose of the camo, LOL. What you’re seeing here is the Ruger SR 556. Not to be confused with their entry level AR 5.56. This is their piston operated model which is well known to run forever between cleanings. This is the original model, which is quickly and easily identified by the full quad rail. This one works great, in fact the last time it was fired was the day this listing was posted. We’ve changed some parts, and all the original parts we removed come with the unit, as does the original carrying bag emblazoned with the Ruger logo. So, OK, what’d we change? Added the Vortex Strike Eagle in the 1-6X24 sitting on an American Defense QD mount. Put a Fortis “Red” muzzle brake on it, and a Fortis “Hammer” charging handle. Installed a LaRue Tactical MBT 2 Stage straight bow trigger. Added a Phase 5 bolt catch. Changed the buffer tube from Milspec to an enhanced version to provide for the bolt carrier always being in contact with the tube, which is important in a piston driven AR. Also traded out the standard castle nut and end plate to the new PWS ratcheting unit, so no dimpling is necessary. That gave us the opportunity to tap the hole for the rear takedown pin, and put a .440 allen screw in it to hold the spring and detent in place if the end plate ever needs to come off. Up line manufacturers are doing that from the factory. The MagPul SL replaced the mil-spec stock.
Finally, you can see the camo job. Will add 2 of the best 30 round magazines you’ll ever use. Trades: doubtful, but thanks. Located near 1604, and 281 N. Best is text to 210.404.4004. Alternatively, email thru Gun I see Trader. PS: I see someone knocking the "Klunky" quad rail. LOL. Decide for yourself - if you want the most virsitle, or the cheapest!
