$1,500.00
Testing the waters with this one. This has been my personal competition rifle for almost two years. Built by me but I think I'm ready to build myself another rifle.
- WBP 556 Core parts
- Unknown 556 barrel. Might be green mountain. 14.5"
- WBP receiver completed from an 80% CORRECTLY for 556 WBP parts
- Rearden DPB brake pinned and welded on.
- Occam externally adjustable gas block
- Krebs Mag eject spring and finger release lever. Push with your index finger and the mag flies out
- Jmac handguard. I Was going to keep the handguard, but I cut the sling loop off to put it on. If you want the wood handguard instead I can negotiate on the price.
- ALG trigger.
- Extended polish safety
- Side rail
- 3d printed magwell.
- Comes with one 30rd FB mag but it also works really well with the Bulgarian commercial and AC Unity mags. WBP mags are a little tight and my not drop free. I sized the receiver and magwell around AC unity mags.
Notes for serious buyers:
1. This is a Privately built firearm. It has the makers info and a serial number engraved in it and as far as I'm aware, it's legal to sell. I will provide a bill of sale.
2. I'm not good at keeping round counts, but this gun has close to 3k rounds through it. So far, it's never broken the firing pin, but the 556 WBP guns have been known to break firing pins on occasion.
3. As typical with 556 AKM pattern rifles, this has not been a tight grouping rifle for me. 3-4MOA is very typical. I have made hits out to 400+yds but this is really a 200yd and in rifle.
4. This was not built to be a collector grade gun. The finish is minimal and there are a few tool marks and blemishes scattered throughout.
5. It's hard to even put a value on this setup. RD sells a similar build for $2500. I figure I have about $1500 into the parts alone not counting any labor.
