rifle. One owner, less than 200 round count. This is the original M&P Sport with the 5R rifling and no dust cover or forward
assist. 5R rifling is superior to standard lands and grooves, and more expensive to produce which may be why it was
discontinued [the Sport II has standard lands and grooves]. Dust covers and forward assists are controversial; many feel
they are unnecessary and can cause stoppages or catastrophic failure if cartridge jammed into blocked chamber. Of
interest, the USMC did not want them in the original contract but was overruled by the DoD. The King of battlefield
reliability, the AK-47, has neither. NIKON Scope: The 1" tube Nikon 3x32mm optic is a BDC [Bullet Drop Compensating]
reticle that allows fast acquisition of targets without turret adjustments out to 600 yards. Rifle was disassembled, cleaned,
