See sellers other listings; had this rifle built in the 1989/1990 time frame, stock is hand made and checkered out of a English Walnut rifle blank, the Remington 700 action was purchased from Remington new; rifle less the stock was completely built by a very prominent gun builder named Klein started off by blueprinting and hand tuning the complete receiver action added a #5 heavy Krieger barrel lightened the trigger to 3.5 and then he fitted it into the custom made stock and glass bedded it:
I lost my south Texas hunting lease in 94/95 Due only to Price Gouging, was only able to hunt with it maybe 4 yrs, then it became a beautiful safe queen ;
I do remember taking $20 to $25 dollars off my hunting partners by shooting Nickels at 100 yrds topped with my Zeiss scope and sand bagged of course ;
Somewhere in the 30 yrs of not using I have lost my 270 AI reloading dies that can easily be bought and replaced I also remember I only ever used Hodgdon H4831 powder don’t remember the grains and Sierra Boat tail 130 gr bullits this rifle is a —-LEGEND—- and should go to someone who will use it to its full capabilities Axis Whitetails Mule Deer and Pronghorn out past 400 yrds
I have no idea what it would cost to build a rifle of this excellent quality and extreme accuracy nowadays I am putting this rifle up for sale for $1300 to someone who will appreciate it and take care of it as I did
