For sale, Remington Model 510 Targetmaster .22lr target rifle in excellent condition, also good for small game and pests. Date code “R K” indicates, if I am interpreting it correctly, November 1941 manufacture. Wood furniture is pristine, bluing is somewhat worn, but has a very nice patina, there is no apparent rust present, there looks to be some type of staining, see pictures. Barrel measures 25” with over all length of about 42 3’4”. There is no serial number, firearms built pre 1968 were not required to have them, the Remington 510 stopped being manufactured in 1962. The top of the barrel is marked “REMINGTON ARMS CO. INC., ILION NY MADE IN U.S.A. / PATENTS PENDING”, “Remington”, “TARGETMASTER”, “REG. US PATENT OFF.”MODEL 510”, .22 SHORT/LONG OR LONG RIFLE”.
