Have 2 and making room, very nice, all-original Persian (Iranian) Mauser rifle, manufactured by Zbrojovka Brno in Czechoslovakia under contract for the Persian government in the late 1920s/early 1930s model 98/29

• Beautiful receiver with the iconic Persian Lion & Sun crest (Pahlavi era) – sharp and well-defined.
• Right side rail has Persian/Farsi script markings (indicating “long rifle” model and Brno
• Stock has some pretty tiger striping annd original Persian cartouche/engraving on the butt with repair.
• Full-length military stock with correct metal buttplate, barrel bands, cleaning rod (if present), and sling swivels.
• Bolt and other parts matching based on photos – smooth action.
• Excellent bore – bright and strong rifling
• Includes the classic turned-down bolt handle, ladder rear sight with Farsi yardage, and hooded front sight.
• Metal finish is original blued/gray with honest patina and light wear – no major pitting or abuse.
• Overall very nice condition for a 90+ year-old milsurp – displays great and would make a solid shooter or addition to any Persian/Czech contract collection.
