My father bought this brand new in 1981 from Fredericksburg Hardware; it was in his closet for decades and didn't see much use. It's got a few scuffs and a little patina to it. It cycles very smoothly and shoots very well.

I'm not a lever action fan and I'd like to trade it for a bolt action or semiautomatic rifle in .22 magnum. I'm not interested in Rossi brand guns or revolver style carbines.

I'd also consider an entry level bolt rifle in .25/06 or .30/06, or a reasonable cash offer.
