Lightly shot Savage 12 Long-Range-Precision with a threaded barrel (5/8x24) and MDT LSS chassis stock. This is a great long-distance rife chambered in the accurate and ballistically efficient 260 Remington. Barrel twist is 1:8 inch allowing it to easily stabilize heavier bullets up to 147 grains. I've shot many 1/2" moa 5-shot groups with this rifle using hand-loads comparable to factory match ammo. The action still uses the adjustable Savage Accu-Trigger. The MDT chassis accepts the common Magpul Pmag magazine (5 or 10 rnd). I had the barrel threaded to accept either muzzle-brakes or suppressors. Note: Price does not include scope or bipod shown in photos. Total build cost: $1760 (without scope and bipod). I also have the original OEM HS Precision stock that could replace the MDT Chassis and lower the overall sales price by $400.
