The M25 White Feather M1A uses the Springfield Armory threaded rear-lugged receiver found on the Super Match models, as well as the standard M14 magazine. It has a low-profile custom muzzle brake, and a 1:10 twist Krieger carbon heavy match barrel.
Springfield Armory has an agreement with the estate of Carlos Hathcock to produce the rifles that bear a stamping of his signature, along with his trademark "White Feather" logo. The M25 rifles aren't just tribute guns, though: they shoot as well as the rifles used by Carlos Hathcock.
