the DWX frame is effectively that of a tuned-up CZ 75 and it comes standard a double-stack flush fit 15-round magazine, also includes 2 18rd sp tactical magazines with custom made bases for a little extra length to grip if you have larger hands (I wanted it to feel kind of like a magwell). Plus 2x 20 rnd magazines with CZ Custom baseplates. Plus 2 standard 17 Rd CZ mags for a total of 7 mags.
Inside either DWX, the trigger group will be familiar to any 1911 shooter (the sear, hammer assembly, disconnector, firing pin, and springs are all 1911) and made frome barstock A2(except the springs obviously) and the slide is much more 1911 in style than CZ 75, though it does use a CZ 75-type barrel locking lug system. There is no bushing or double spring takedown is fast. Lockup is tight.
Naturally, one of the best features of a good 1911 is its trigger, and in that regard, the DWX does not disappoint. The trigger moves in a straight line forward and backward. It has a very distinct wall with a crisp, clean, glass rod-like break. Its reset is mind bogglingly short. The best part Glock-folk is no trigger shoe safety thungy.
Break on the trigger comes in between 3 and 3.2 pounds, but you’d never guess it. It’s so free of creep and so dang crisp and short that you would swear it was closer to 2. In a definite deviation from a 1911/2011-style pistol, the DWX does not have a grip safety, which is great because they were never meant to. Thumb safetys are Wilson Combat bullet proof ultra low profile on left from barstock a2 (they only come factory in the carry with right I'm a lefty which is crazy) the slide stop, and mag release have been replaced with Wilson Combat bulletproof A2. The barrel top/sides/lugs, feed ramp, throat, have all had reliability/accuracy tune performed by CGW (they also fitted the safety and slide stop, as well installed mag release. It has a bull-barrel target grade reverse-crowned bushing-less no tools no floppy barrel links even. Rear site is all black seratted (battle-hook for racking with one hand If needed). Front site is green trijicon HD. Seriously I don't know how the hell someone didn't think of this years ago. The Cz75 feels in the hand as one of the most natural gripping pistols ever, and the 1911 is the best damn pistol ever. Put it all together with a slim grip that's the same width as a single stack 1911. It's perfect, and I really shouldn't sell it. However, My lovely wife, had a Wilson Experior built for me with every option you could get for out anniversary about 2 years ago. Due to that pistol being built for me, being same cal/exact size weight ect., gift from the wife, and shooting lights out too (it better for almost 5k at the time). The DWX only had 1 range trip after getting back from Cajun and feel horrible about it because it is a rediculous gun that shot (from a bag) a 1'' ragged hole from 25 yds. I'm not that good of an offhand shooter. Anyway, it needs a forever home where it can run wild and get outside more. Also comes with 8 yes 8 sets of grips witch have been modified to use 1911 bushings and torx screws, so you will always be able to finger more or change them to fancy ones and what-not.
I have over $3400 in this with parts, extra mags, grips, ect.and custom work with less than 50 rounds through it. You are getting a trust your life no bs, always gonna work, shoot wings off a fly lmao, pass to your children type gun. Yes I know it's a production gun that they advertised horribly, but man oh man I'd put it against any Stacatto, or Atlas Double (sorry), I just would. Its light, fast, accurate, fast on target, and recoil is non existant (that I still haven't figured out because commanders usually jump tbh). 2000 cash takes it. Pretty firm on it. I'd trade for for a Marlin Sbl or trapper in 44mag +$900 , or Smith 1854 in 45colt +$900 . I'd also take a Ruger Ranch gen2 in 223/556 +$1500. Or 2k in cash. Text for serious question only please, only trades are the ones listed, and the price is not very NEGOTIABLE. 2FIVE4-97EIGHT-049SIX
