Taken to a gunsmith to ensure shootability but gunsmith lost the screws to the heat shield, action is a little rough but the gunsmith said it’d be an easy fix. Winchester 12Ga Model 1897 Trench Gun with slam fire, heat shield, bayonet, sling and all matching serial numbers. Bought from a Mrs.Susan Allen whose grandfather carried this shotgun as a guard in Huntsville prison. The bayonet is a Lee enfield bayonet that’s stamped and was added afterwards.
