Selling this classic Marlin Model 1897, mfg. in 1902, caliber 22 S-L-LR. It has a 24-inch octagonal barrel, open sights, straight grip stock. This gun looks to be all original, and has a take-down receiver. The barrel bluing is decent…no pitting, just turning a brown patina in spots. The walnut stock and forearm have handling marks, but no splits. cracks, or pieces missing.
