My recently passed brother purchased this new in early 2006 and as far as I know, it has never been assembled or fired. It could have been, of course, but I doubt it. I really don't know much about guns in general so I'll do my best to be honest and above board. This rifle breaks down into three piece in just a few seconds. The barrel, action, and a couple of magazines store comfortably in the black ABS synthetic waterproof stock. You don't need any tools to assemble or disassemble this rifle. When everything is stored in the stock, it is easily carried. You could even carry it in the case it came in. I looked around online and there are a lot of these for sale so I decided to price mine lower than everyone else so I can find her a new home.
