1911 .45 ACP - Essex frame, Armscor/RIA upper, internals from Harrison, with a National Match barrel. This was a project pistol I bought at auction and cleaned up, replacing the internals with Harrison parts while keeping the "old school" feel. Now that it's finished, it needs someone who will shoot it and put it to use. If you know Essex frames, they were often used to build competition-grade guns from the ground up. The frame-to-slide fit on this is excellent and the barrel/slide lockup is tight.
With the new parts, it's worth over $650. I'm selling for $500 (firm). "But a new Tisas is $350." Yes, it is, and if that's what you want, buy that instead. If you want an example of a purpose-built 1911 originally crafted from the ground up, then updated and revived, this is your gun. Can include a leather holster if needed for $20 more.
FTF at Bass Pro in Round Rock. If ad is up, it's available. I prefer evenings but can be flexible during the day depending on my schedule. Possible limited interest in trades for Atlas or MBX 140mm 2011 mags or S&W third-gen semi-auto's, potentially 147gr or higher 9mm ammo (1500-2000 rounds depending on which ammo). Not looking to add cash to any trade.
