For sale, brand new custom build Khyber Pass clone AKM side folder rifle, on a brand new virgin Romanian Cugir manufactured parts kit with a brand new US made 16" barrel and new US manufactured DDI AKM receiver with pistol grip reinforcing plate. Rifle was professionally built by Cajun Gunsmith in Plano, Texas, this is NOT an off the shelf Century Arms or Palmetto State AK but a custom built and fitted firearm. Most of the metal parts came from a virgin Romanian Cugir AKM rifle, with used BFPU Romanian lower “dong” handguard, upper handguard and surplus 30 round magazine, the only non Romanian parts are a lightly used Egyptian Maadi rear sight assembly with Russian rear sight leaf, Bulgarian pistol grip, East German AK74 sling, and new, unused Krinkov style muzzle device. Robert from Cajun used Bulgarian pistol grip, brand new Bulgarian 5.5mm pin side folder assembly, Gunsmith completely reworked the parts, hand fitted them, Robert hand fitted the bolt group and piston to operate smoothly, including properly fitting bolt and trunnion to each other, insuring proper headspacing, Robert modified the trigger and disconnector to prevent trigger slap, as well as deburring and polishing the FCG parts for smoother operation. Brian Cerakoted the receiver and barrel assembly (not including the Maadi rear sight base) in Armor Black. There have been three test rounds put through the rifle since completion. This will make a great truck gun, home defense gun and hog & coyote gun or fill a place in your AKM collection, as Khyber Pass clone rifles are not very common. Rifle has and includes a Hungarian short AMD65 cleaning rod, mounted below the barrel, original East German AK74 blue web sling, also includes one Romanian issued used 30 round magazine, as shown.
