Taurus Judge revolvers are a great concept in a revolver. 45 Colt, 410 Gauge shells or a combination of the two. They serve a wide variety of purposes from home defense, snake killing and target shooting. They also come in a huge variety of models . . . Judge, Judge Magnum, matte stainless, matte black oxide, ultra light, Defender, poly . . . you get the idea.

We’ve sold most of those and in a variety of barrel lengths. However, we’ve never seen this particular version. We even went so far as to look at 100 current listings for the Taurus Judge on GunBroker and we looked at over 600 closed GunBroker listings. From all of those listings, we found just one other Judge with this setup. This Judge has a polished blued finish and gold accents. We phoned Taurus and confirmed that this is the factory configuration.

According to Taurus, this Judge (serial # CP770688) left the factory in 2009. The metal finish is a polished blued finish that’s no longer offered by Taurus. The cylinder release, trigger and hammer are gold colored.

The barrel is 3 inches in length and the fluted cylinder is 2.5 inches, holding 5 rounds. The front sight is fiber optic/hi-viz and the rear sight is a channel in the top of the frame. The grips are a black rubber with a brass Taurus medallion embedded in the grip.

This revolver has a good bore, a bright barrel and good rifling. The blued finish is in Excellent – Near Mint condition. The grips are Very Good.

We think that this Judge would look fantastic in about any collection. One things for sure, your buddies are not going to have the same model!
