Some features of this early model include the large roll marks on both sides of the slide, Eliason adjustable rear sight, 5" National Match barrel and a skeletonized stainless-steel serrated crescent trigger with an adjustable trigger stop.
Classic deep Colt Blue/Black high polish on the steel flats of the frame and slide with matte black finish on the topstrap, rounded surfaces, forestrap and backstrap. Relief cuts on the grip frame on the left and right. Hammer flats in the raw. Flat mainspring housing with standard beavertail. These pistols were hand fit slide to frame and then barrel to slide by a Colt Gunsmith and are known for their incredible accuracy.
The trigger has a mild uptake to a crisp sharp break with no overtravel. Serial number 70N84004 was manufactured in 1980. Checkered walnut grips with gold Colt rampant horse emblems. In overall Very Good condition with high bright bluing and sharp checkered grips. Minor scratches along top of slide.
Comes with a rare .22 LR conversion kit, and 2 .45 ACP magazines. I do not have the .22 LR magazine, box or manuals.
