From my personal collection, never fielded, never fired, new old stock as new in box!
Historically, the M45A1 model is 'the last' 1911 fielded by the Marines special operations (MEUSOC), Raiders & Recon, albeit this is the beautiful stainless steel version.

For those who have interest in Colt:
This one is especially unique and scarce considering the stainless finish and the 'O1070RGZ' model number designation itself. There are two Colt rail guns with the exact same model number - however, one is a Bill Hicks special order from the Colt Custom shop (to differentiate the gun, the Bill Hicks special order was a 'black nitride' finish, different slide roll markings 'Special Combat' & 'Combat Government Model') only 100 made. This particular version of the M45A1 in stainless may be a more rare, it is a pre-CZ acquisition (2019)!

Anyhow, I'm getting close to retiring in a few more years. So I'm slowly downsizing my collection. I prefer a local sale before I would pay auction fees. I'd advise a buyer to order a history letter from the Colt Archives for their posterity or shoot it like what it was made for. I already have the nitride version special order and it's my current shooter!

New in Box, an all original 'Colt Custom Shop', Includes all new factory accessories 2-Wilson Combat Magazines, signed Test Target, manual, lock, Colt branded Otis cleaning kit and Pelican case. Night sights front & rear, checkered front strap. Under top foam tray insert there the storage for the 2 magazines and lock. This Colt M45A1 does look much better than the oily pictures i took of it!
